Mike Holmes is a freelance creative/art director/designer, self-employed since 1985. Projects have been completed for regional, national and international accounts.

In Brief

Mike Holmes was born an artist quite some time ago. Educated at New England College in NH and England, majoring in Visual Arts before going to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale for a degree in Advertising Design. Jobs at ad agencies and project work with many agencies, design studios and clients followed.

Work

I work on a project/hourly basis from concept to completion on the Mac with Quark Express, Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop, ImageReady, GoLive and more.

I've had many successful freelance relationships with companies over the years. With fax and emailing Acrobat pdf files, it has really streamlined the process. I get the information on a job, quote it or the budget is predetermined, then I email pdf files of initial concepts/designs, a direction is approved, then moving on to complete the rest of the project with pdf files provided as proofs.
